Writing Challenge—Shut up and write 2023
Goal for March – Complete three chapters a week on the first revised draft for The House
Time for a writing update \(^-^)/ — my #shutupandwrite2023 goal for March is to complete the first revisions for 3 chapters a week. Last week, I completed the re-re-write of Chapters 1 and 3, cleaned up Part 1 and its 9 chapters, wrote one interlude, and re-wrote chapter 10
I think that counts!
Progress in numbers
The House, first draft — 92,800 words
Chapters revised – 2 prologue, 10 chapters, 1 interlude
I am now at the stage where my writing target turns into a writing budget—I only have between 8000 and 20000 words left to spend.
