The House, The Spheres Book Two
I am cursed with bad luck–falling trees, flat tires (whose idea was it that small hybrids don’t need spare wheels?). My resilience was already low, and even these tiny dramas threw me off my writing game … . The revisions got stuck in Chapters 9 and 10–always a sign to take a step back and that more work is needed. Progress in numbers was dismal last week … . But even though numbers are good for accountability, as are these updates, they don’t present the whole picture–the book is still growing and finding its shape in ways that leave me full of hope that I can pull this off no matter what.

I kicked off the advertising and marketing push for The Fragments last week. I am tweaking and testing paid ad campaigns on Amazon–the bidding can get expensive, and conversions are dismal–and Instagram–disappointing, to say the least. I will also organise an online Book Tour and dig into further more grassrooty opportunities.
We wouldn’t do this if it would be easy, right?
New here? I am New Zealand-based writer, artist and maker Minu Freitag. I have published my first book—The Fragments, an inventive mix of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Dystopian fiction—in 2022 and am currently working on the second book in The Spheres Series—The House—due for release in the first half of 2024.
