Hmm … I am so far behind that I don’t even want to think about it. To make it through, I have to adjust my goals and the way I track progress.
July / August Goal – 2nd revision completed by mid-August
I aim for 100k to 120k words in the final manuscript and have revised about 19k in three weeks. If I want to publish the book in December, I must complete the second revision in August. That leaves me four to six weeks. If I write six days a week, that is about 3,000 words a day.
