The–almost–weekly writing update.
Week 30,2023
It’s been a challenging week … some progress mixed with a lot of doubt and a general possum-caught-in-the-headlights feel*. The new interiors for the revised Fragments Paperback are done, and I am waiting for the first proof to arrive. I re-started my Amazon ad campaign and have a few ads running on Instagram with some small successes. Now … the revisions for the House take too long, and doubt is creeping in from all sides—knowing that doubts, indecision, and paralysing fear are expected parts of the creative process only marginally helps once you are in that dark place full of monsters.
Anyway … onwards and upwards is the way to go … I guess.

I am still tweaking and testing paid ad campaigns on Amazon–still expensive with dismal conversions, but a sale is a sale, right?–and Instagram. The later with better results last week. Still working on organising an online Book Tour …

New here? I am New Zealand-based writer, artist and maker Minu Freitag. I have published my first book—The Fragments, an inventive mix of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Dystopian fiction—in 2022 and am currently working on the second book in The Spheres Series—The House—due for release in the first half of 2024.
