Another week. Another update.
Writing Challenge—Shut up and write 2023

Next Goal? Complete first revised draft for The House on or before May 14th!
Time for a writing update \(^-^)/ — It’s the first update in April and the goal for this month’ #shutupandwrite2023 #writingchallenge is to finish the first revision! This is going to be very, very tight! To make it a tiny bit more feasible, the actual deadline is May 14th—six weeks to go!
So how did last week go? I met my three chapters a week goal! The first revisions / re-writes for Interlude 2 and Chapters 17 and 18 are done!
Progress in numbers
The House revised draft — 101,00 words
Chapters revised – 2 prologues, 18 chapters, 2 interludes
Writing budget is very tight—word count target for the House is between 100,000 and 120,000 words.
New here?
The House is the second book in a new series combining fantasy, science fiction, and dystopian themes. Find out more under Books.
