Another week. Another update.
Writing Challenge—Shut up and write 2023
Current Goal – Complete first revised draft for The House on or before May 14th!
It’s Monday and time for the … #panic … Writing Update! This year is racing by in a blur! I can’t believe we are already heading towards the end of April.
Last week went okay-ish … I guess? There is still a good amount of jumping backwards and forwards in the draft, but I am heading towards the final confrontation and the end. No real progress on the new covers, but I cleaned up The Fragments interior layout with a much better thought out approach in Affinity Publisher 2. So … I guess a soldier on and hope for the best.
Progress in numbers
The House revised draft — 104,250 words
Chapters revised – 2 prologues, 33 chapters, 3 interludes
Writing budget remains very tight—word count target for the House is between 100,000 and 120,000 words.
