Time to think and re-set.
I feel so much better now, thank you.
With my already lighter social footprint*, the rat-race pressure to post and post and post is gone … I only now realise how much strain it added to my creative adventures. My creative spirit feels so light. I want to dance, but I worked in the garden yesterday and my back opposes any sudden movements.

* there is still a way to go, but I deleted two Facebook pages and most of my posts and photos from what remains on Meta. My Mastodon and Threads accounts are gone. I also deleted my Flickr account … I shed a tear when I pressed that button … 💔 … . It feels like the end of an era, and it just might be.
What remains of the day
It may not be the best idea for my creative adventures to ignore Facebook or Instagram just yet, plus I would miss the connections I made there (with you guys). I will maintain a Minu and Freitag Book presence on both platforms, but I won’t create specific creatives for either … or any social media platform. Which I never should have done … .
Instead, I will share pictures and stories from my weekly blog, newsletter and new website to come … sometime not too soon, I fear.
I hope you bear with me until all of this takes shape! If you want to keep in touch, consider signing up for my monthly-ish newsletter!

New here? I am New Zealand-based writer, artist and maker Minu Freitag.
