Welcome to minu.co.nz (the site), a website hosted by myHost in New Zealand and operated by New Zealand based artist and writer Minu Freitag (we, our, Minu). The Terms of use (Terms) apply to the entire contents of the site, to any web feeds produced by the site and to any feedback or submissions provided through the site. The linked Privacy Policy, Care instructions, information on International orders and Shipping, and our Refund and Returns Policy are part of the Terms.

Any ambiguities in the interpretation of the term are not to be construed against us. If any part of the Terms are deemed void, the other parts of the Terms remain valid.

Caring for purchased artwork

Any failure to follow our care instructions will void any warranties. Please read them carefully.

Products are not suitable for infants or children

The products on this site are artwork and not toys. They are not suitable for children under 12 or infants under three years old unless stated specifically in the product description.

You must be 18 year or older to buy Minu services or products.

Personal and legal use

Artwork is sold for personal and legal use only. You agree not to reproduce, resell or exploit our products and services, or use Minu products for any illegal or unauthorised purposes.

Accuracy and completeness of information including availability and pricing

The Fair Trading Act recognises the possibility of “reasonable mistakes”. We aim to keep the content on this site as accurate and up-to-date as possible, but errors might occur, including in product availability, descriptions, photos (especially the representation of colour), pricing, promotions, offers, shipping availability, transit times and charges. We will seek to offer alternative or custom products where we fail to deliver an order, but we reserve the right to correct errors, offer replacements, or cancel orders at any time and for any reasons.

Confirmation or cancellation of orders

We will confirm your order by email using the email address provided with the order. In the event that we can’t fulfil or need to cancel an order, we will contact you by email.

Accuracy of contact and shipping details

You agree to provide complete and accurate contact and shipping information for your order. If contact data of shipping details are incorrect additional costs might apply.

Security

We take security seriously. The site is hosted in New Zealand and protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate. The site is updated regularly and follows best practise principles.

Payments

We do not record credit card details. All online payments are processed by Stripe Payments. Stripe’s payment platform is committed to meet the highest certification standards to keep payments safe.

Prices and GST

We are registered for GST in New Zealand and prices on this website are in New Zealand dollars and include 15% GST. You will receive a GST invoice for your order via email.

Reviews and feedback

Reviews and feedback are very welcome, but all user generated content will be moderated. By providing reviews or feedback you agree that we may, at any time edit and publish your feedback in any medium. The users are solely responsible for any comments they make and their accuracy. We might contact you before publication where possible, but we are under no obligation to publish your feedback, to pay compensation, or to respond to any comments.

Any unlawful use of this site is prohibited, including, but not limited to, the collection of personal information of others; the submission of false or misleading information; the interference or circumvention of security features or the upload or transmission of malicious code; the violation of our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others, or the harassment or discrimination of others.
