What is an ARC or Advance Reader Copy?
An ARC or Advance Reader Copy (sometimes called an Advance Review Copy), is a free pre-publication version of a book distributed to reviewers, bookstores, librarians, journalists, and other industry professionals before the official release date. ARC are typically late drafts or proofs, not the finial text, meaning they may contain typos or other errors that will be fixed in the final published version.
