Commissions

Spotted something on the minu website, Instagram, or Pinterest, and want to something similar? On this page, I explain how I work with commissions.

Requesting a commission might look like a daunting process, but it is pretty straightforward.

Case 1 – You have fallen in love with a minu artwork and want something just like it

That is easy. I will give you a few options, we agree on a price, and I will start on the work after a 50% deposit of the agreed price. If there are questions, I might send a few progress images to ensure we are on the same page. The final payment is due after the shipment.

Case 2 – You like what I have done but would like a more personalised piece

In this case, we would discuss the project and agree on a small fee for an initial discovery phase. After the fee is paid, we will go through some sketches and material options. Once we agree on the final product and price, I will start the work after a 50% deposit of the agreed price. If there are questions, I might send a few progress images to ensure we are on the same page. The final payment is due after the shipment.

What if you are not happy with the outcome

Luckily, this has not happened so far, but I understand that commissioning custom artwork can be challenging, and any sketches or visual representations might not always match the actual artwork. If you are not happy with your custom order or commission, you can return it, and I will do my best to sell the artwork and refund the commission fee excluding the shipping. If I can’t sell the work within a six month period, I will return the artwork to you. For international orders, shipping fee for the returned artwork will apply.
