The Minu Weekend Workshop #1 – Drypoint on Perspex will be held*) at the Print Studio, Inverlochy Art School, 3 Inverlochy Place in Wellington on Saturday, December 4 and Sunday, December 5. The fee is $195 for 10 hours tuition.

6 to 8 places are available.

The course is for both complete beginners or more experienced printmakers who wish to further explore Drypoint techniques using plastic sheets. Water and oil based inks, a variety of white papers and other basic print materials will be provided. The aim is for you to go home with a print each day, so please bring a drawing a photocopy or a monochrome image!

Fragile Shadows by minu

You are warmly invited to ‘Fragile Shadows’ by minu at the New Zealand Art Show 2010. Please come and meet minu from Friday July 30th to Sunday August 1st at the TSB Bank Arena.

‘Fragile Shadows’ takes the viewer into an imaginary world where creatures meet in the shadows of long lost memories, remembering friendship and loss. The artwork includes new work on paper, wood and canvas as well as mixed media.

Minu will be back at the Frank Kitts Market. A Carnival of Creativity! Undercover in Frank Kitts Park, Wellington Waterfront. There will be over 50 stalls of artistic goodness. From paintings to pottery, mosaics to musicians, teddies to tandoori, flowers to fairies, jewellery to jugglers… Enjoy great coffee and delicious food.

Personally my favorite street fair in Wellington! I am very excited about having a stall at Thorndon for the very first time this year. The biggest, brightest and best Wellington fair, run by Thorndon Primary School, will be held this Sunday.
